Barbara was my Godmother. She was a great friend to me and my family. I have so many happy memories of her. We shared family adventures in our caravans and happy many Christmas’.
Barbara had a zest for enjoying life with her family & friends. She coped bravely with many challenges. She will be missed.

Barbara always had a twinkle in her eye. She showed Mum how to make Smarties buns-tiny cakes in petit four cases topped with a Smarties. I make them today and smile thinking of Barbara. So kind and so caring

I first knew Barbara in my teens when she and her first husband, Alan, moved to Meare. The family connection goes back a long way. It was great when she and my dad got together many years later after both had been widowed. I'm glad they were happy and so grateful for the love and care she gave Brian as he reached 100 years old. She was kind and welcoming to so many. Will be sadly missed.
